Veteran actor James Earl Jones is to be honoured with the Screen Actors Guild's lifetime achievement award for his career accomplishments.
The 77-year-old, best known for providing the voice for Darth Vader in Star Wars, was nominated for one Oscar in 1971 and seven Emmy awards.
SAG president Alan Rosenberg said the actor's lengthy career "commands our admiration and respect".
The 14th annual SAG Awards will be held in Los Angeles on 25 January.
